Call us right away for:
Sudden vision loss or change in vision
A new burst of flashes or floaters, or a shadow or curtain across your vision
Eye pain, light sensitivity, or a red eye that isn't improving
Something stuck in your eye, or an eye injury
Chemical splash (rinse your eye with water for 15 minutes first, then call)
Sudden double vision
Swelling, discharge, or a painful lid
Why call us instead of urgent care?
Most urgent care clinics and emergency rooms don't have the equipment to examine the inside of the eye. We do, we have your history, and a visit here usually costs less than an ER trip. If your situation needs an emergency room or a surgeon, we'll tell you and help you get there.

Beyond urgent visits, our doctors diagnose and manage medical conditions of the eye, including:
Red eye and eye infections
Foreign body removal
Evaluation of flashes and floaters
Monitoring for cataracts, macular degeneration, and retinal detachment
Because eye disease often develops with no early symptoms, we focus on catching changes early, when there's the most to be done about them.
A note on insurance
Medical eye visits are billed to your medical insurance, not your vision plan. Vision plans cover routine exams and glasses; whereas medical plans cover eye health problems like infections, injuries, glaucoma, and diabetic eye care. Call us with your insurance information and we'll tell you what's covered before you come in.
