A Message to Our Patients
To Our Valued Patients:
Greetings! We are excited to announce that Beachside Optometry is open to the public again as of Monday, May 18th, 2020. Through these past few months, we have been working our hardest to ensure the health and safety of our staff members and patients. We have altered our clinic and reception area and expanded our Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) inventory. These projects have been implemented to protect you and your families, as well as our staff. As you experience these changes and new protocols/guidelines, we want you to be assured that we have your safety and well-being in mind. We want to thank you in advance for your patience during this time with scheduling appointments, restricting entry into our office for non-patients, as well as other measures mandated by the American Optometric Association and the Centers for Disease Control.
We have been hard at work preparing the office for you and we look forward to welcoming you back! As you prepare for your visit, please take note of the following to ensure everyone's safety and well-being.
· Please use the restroom prior to leaving your home. While our restroom is available to our patients, we are attempting to minimize unnecessary contact points.
· When you arrive at the office for appointments, adjustments, etc., please remain in your car and give us a call at (714) 962-9377 to inform us. One of our staff members will come out to assist you. If you have a scheduled appointment, you will be escorted into the office by a staff member when we are thoroughly prepared for your entry.
· We kindly ask that you wear a mask or face-covering at all times while in our office.
· Please do not wear gloves to your appointment. We will have a hand-sanitizing station that we will ask you to use as you enter and leave our office.
· A wellness screening will be conducted upon your entry into the office. If your temperature is found to be higher than 99 degrees, we will ask you to reschedule your appointment.
· Social distancing, whenever possible, will be practiced. To minimize the number of people in the office at one time, we ask that only the patient being seen comes in for their appointment. However, we understand that certain circumstances will call for an exception to this.
· If you are not feeling well, we ask that you call and reschedule your appointment
· Punctuality is key at this time as we are trying to minimize the number of people in the office at any given time. We have carefully adjusted our appointment intervals to achieve this minimization, so we kindly ask that you arrive to your appointment on time to avoid having to reschedule.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation in keeping our community safe. Your confidence and trust in our office is truly appreciated. We are looking forward to serving you once again!
